Alexis Perttu, FNP

Alexis Perttu is a certified family nurse (FNP) practitioner with the UP Health System - Marquette Cancer Center. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay and worked as a registered nurse in both hospice care and oncology before returning to school to earn a Master of Science in Nursing/FNP from Chamberlain University. "I have always wanted to work with patients living with cancer and be able to provide the same comfort and care that my family has received through cancer diagnoses of many loved ones. My goal is to provide support and care to all patients at any stage of disease and be able to stand by their side during each of their unique journeys." Outside of work, Alexis enjoys spending time with her daughter - who's always busy with dance, gymnastics and other recreational activities - as well as her whole family, which often includes fishing, boating and spending quality time together. "I chose to move from Green Bay to the UP as I have family here and have been visiting the area since I was a child. The UP is beautiful, peaceful and a great place to work and raise my daughter."
