Mark Janofski, FNP

Mark Janofski is a certified family nurse practitioner with UP Medical Group - Medical Specialists, focusing on nephrology. A lifelong resident of Marquette, Mark has been with our hospital since 1999, starting as a nurse's aide, then transitioning to a registered nurse, and now a nurse practitioner after furthering his education. He earned both a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing/Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Northern Michigan University. "Throughout my years here, I have seen the life-saving treatments and cutting-edge technology continue to grow, and it's an honor to be a part of it. I truly enjoy the interactions I have with patients, getting to know them and helping guide them through the medical issues they're experiencing." Outside of work, Mark is an active member of the community, spending much of his free time as a volunteer coach with local youth sports, such as hockey and soccer. He thoroughly enjoys living in the Upper Peninsula and all of the outdoor activities it provides, such as hunting fishing, biking and running.
