Michael Piggott, DO

Dr. Piggott treats patients of all ages with a focus on preventive health and special training in osteopathic manipulation - a technique used to improve and restore bodily functions and relieve pain naturally. He earned his Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine from the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed residency training locally with the UP Health System - Marquette Family Residency Program. "I was born and raised in Marquette, and it has always been my goal to one day return to practice medicine here. What I love most about being a provider is the personal connections made with patients. We get a unique opportunity to see others at their most vulnerable, and being able to provide support and build trust is a profound responsibility that I have the privilege of practicing every day." Outside of work, Dr. Piggott enjoys playing and watching sports (especially the MSU Spartans), hiking, kayaking, reading, and spending time with his family.
